2008 OAASFEP FALL COORDINATORS CONFERENCE

Networking, Leading, Learning
was held at the Hyatt Regency, Columbus, Ohio
October 1-3, 2008

The 2008 OAASFEP Fall Coordinators Conference, a valuable continuous learning experience for coordinators of Title I and other federal programs was held at the Hyatt Regency Convention Center, Columbus on October 1-3, 2008. All coordinators, administrators, and treasurers who administer Title I, IDEA-B or other federal programs, included in the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 and IDEIA, found this conference to be very helpful and informative. A full two-day program, with 5 General Sessions and 35 Breakout Sessions, provided the vital information needed to organize and manage successful Title I and other federal programs which impact student achievement for all students.

New this year was a “New Coordinators Strand” which kicked off with “The New Coordinators Academy” as a pre-conference event on Wednesday afternoon from 1 to 4 pm, then continued with four suggested breakout sessions on Thursday and Friday which were critical for the brand new coordinator of Title I or other programs.
